The Maze of Confusion

is a stirring delusion

brought on by a phase of madness.

The madness begins

when it all ends,

and you don’t think

you can begin again.

Now you long

for what is gone,

but the pain

never seems to end.

You replace the pain—

which was all in vain—

with another thick cloud of smoke.

Then the delusion

of the confusion

that you feel is the solution

ends up in madness again.
