Botanical Description: Deciduous climbing or shrub-like perennial. Thorny stems can be used to identify species.
Flowers have five sepals and at least one five-petal layer and color can range from white through yellow, pinks and reds. Stems have alternating leaves.
Harvesting Guidelines: Look for newly opened blooms and harvest petals on a dry morning. Harvest rose hips with no green on them in the fall. (3)

Uses:
